Application number :
2025/02755/TREE
Application type :
Works to Tree(s) in Conservation Area
Address :
Common Areas And Grounds Miller's Court London W4 2PF
Development type :
MISSING_NOTES
Development description :
T3 - REAR Parking Area - Winter flowering Cherry - Cut to ground level and grind stump to approx. 300mm below ground level. This tree is also in need of pruning, there is no reason to cut it down. All the cherry trees flower at different times, which make the courtyard interesting and a good habitat for wildlife. Please refuse permission for this tree to be felled. T5 - REAR Parking Area - Plum - Cut to ground level and grind stump to approx. 300mm below ground level. This tree flowered for the first time this year and was really pretty. I think that with care and maintenance it does not need to be felled. T7 - REAR Parking Area - Amelanchier - Cut to ground level and grind stump to approx. 300mm below ground level. It would be terrible to lose this tree. It has beautiful autumn colours and is the most mature of the trees on that side of the courtyard. There is no sign of it dying back. Please refuse permission. As this tree is dying back so heavily, the plan is to remove and replace. T8 - REAR Parking Area - Camelia Reduce all aspects of the crown by approx. 1.5 - 2m to create a tight and tidy shape. The camelia is in a private garden and not on Miller's Court jointly owned land. I am not sure why it is on this application, but we agree it needs pruning.
