T1 Sycamore, rear garden - Removal. Within this small garden the tree has outgrown its setting and is incompatible with the scale and intended use of the space. Does not respond well to repeated or heavy pruning. Ongoing crown reduction would be required to contain the tree, resulting in poor form, increased maintenance and reduced long term health and structural integrity. This would not represent good arboricultural practice and would shorten the tree lifespan. Given the species, position and limited space, retention is not appropriate or sustainable. low public amenity value. Removal would not harm the visual quality, historic character or wider landscape setting of the Conservation Area.
